Theme: Staying the course

With the Sun square Saturn it’s two steps forward and one step back. Even though progress is challenged by various obstacles do not give up heart. Effort is effort and somewhere along the line results do materialize. The Sun is also conjunct Mercury bringing a flurry of messages and communications. This aspect, bestows confidence and yet invites you to see that when decisions are connected to your inner purpose they bear more fruit. The Moon has moved into Aquarius bringing a more breezy, airy, social quality to your day.

When we begin to practice meditation, we’re always surprised how fast the mind runs. Yet even though it seems to be running very fast, it’s actually slowing down “like a stream running down a steep mountain”. Theme: Keeping things in proportion

The Moon forms an interesting conjunction with Venus, Ceres and Pluto today bringing both a sense of good will and self-expansion, and also pushing the parts we keep hidden to the surface, sometimes with unexpected results. Also Jupiter is exactly opposite Mercury today meaning you have to be more mindful of how you communicate with others, hence the theme of keeping things in proportion. Nevertheless there is much good will underlying whatever unruly events happens today.

The mind does not end when we die. It will always be there. It has no beginning and no end. The point here is to see that, at the end of this life, the mind and physical aggregates separate…The problem is, what goes on is only our mind, which is the basis for carrying all the imprints and tendencies accumulated throughout out life. Theme: Expanding your mind

The Sun is square Saturn bringing contraction into your life – and reinforcing the need at this time to work within existing structures. The Moon in Capricorn is comfortable with this scenario and achieving practical outcomes. At the same time, Jupiter is opposite Mercury, expanding our minds and horizons, and drawing our gaze upwards to bigger vistas. In other word this aspect invites us to lift our gaze and see that we are part of a greater tapestry.

Theme: Diligence pays off

With the Vertex conjunct Saturn today, effort is rewarded. Saturn is currently in the sign of Pisces, which is concerned more with spirituality and connecting to the divine, rather than real life, the concern of Saturn. Saturn in Pisces, therefore, makes it harder than usual to create structure and set boundaries. This can make ordinary life more challenging including fulfilling contractual obligations. Mercury is retrograde until the 15th of December making it even more important to ensure the fine print is understood.

Theme: Working for Yourself

The positive combination of the Sun and Mars in a trine is favorable for working alone for your own benefit. Physical activity is also favored for one more day. It is good to take stock in what your current projects are and to throw yourself into them vigorously. The Moon is in Scorpio today and harmonizes with Venus, especially in the middle of the day. This favors socializing, and indulging in food and drink.

Theme: Shadow and light

The Moon has entered the sign of Scorpio bringing deep feelings to the surface that make you want to keep your own counsel, at least until you’ve sorted through things. While the Moon remains in Scorpio it’s an intense couple of days leavened by the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, who blithely aid us in venturing into territory others keep well away from. There is a nice aspect of Venus to the part-of-fortune bringing good fortune in connection with others today.

Theme: Taking time for reflection and planning

With the Moon Void of Course most of the day (4.14 am to 7.21pm EST USA) it’s not a day to initiate great change. Rather, seek time to take stock today and prepare for changes to come. It’s an opportune time for planning and applying effort in building relationships. With the Sun in Sagittarius it is also a time to link your ideals to the actual steps needed to achieve your ideals.

Theme: Inner cleansing

With the Moon conjunct Vesta today take the time to turn inwards to listen to your heart and your spiritual needs. Once you identify them you can attend to them. The Moon in Libra invite us to see both sides of the coin and weigh up all the necessary elements to make an informed decision. This is particularly important with Mercury retrograde, and the need for attention to detail. However, with the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius detail may not be uppermost in your mind.

Theme: A Fortunate Day

The Sun is united with the part of fortune today. Especially the during first half of the day, something good should happen.
