Theme: Slowdown and Savor

Theme: Optimism

For several more days, we should take advantage of Mercury trine Jupiter, although the challenges of Mercury retrograde continue. Our thinking is broadminded, clear and optimistic. Business activity is favored, along with the study of religion, philosophy and law. Discipline is needed to take full advantage of this energy so do not kick back and relax too much. Take time to plan for the future but don’t start acting on the plans until the last two weeks of September.

Theme: Hauling it away

With Pluto the lead planet in Capricorn square the moons nodes plus Saturn in Pisces past negative actions materialize in your present life in significant ways: you can help antidote the ultimate causes through finding compassion in your heart for those in similar circumstances, not losing heart, and stabilizing your mind through meditation and other supports. Theme: Dissolving and revolving

There is a nice harmony with the Sun in Virgo and the Moon in Pisces. They are opposite yet compliment one another. Both placements, if favorable, are geared towards ending suffering through compassionate activity. Today the full moon peaks. It’s the high water mark which means that there is more activity and heightened energy – and sometimes events can reach a critical level before tapering off. With Saturn in the mix there is a feeling of restriction before release. When the time is right the heart opens. A moonlight bath after sunset could do the trick.

Theme: Light relief

With the Moon conjunct Venus today there is a period of feeling in harmony and more connected with others. Beauty is easier to see in the world. Which is just as well as the Moon also squares Jupiter and Uranus and you will find out for sure if Loch Ness really does have a dinosaur swimming around in it. Life is big right now so it’s good to pause to integrate and process all the different planetary energies coming down the pipeline. The Moon in Aquarius gives us breathing space.

Theme: Tenacity

With the Moon conjunct Pluto and trine Mars you can draw from deep within, and find fortitude, tenacity and strength. Sometimes at the most difficult times you surprise yourself, and spiritual strength is part of your resilience. Theme: Nice to meet you

With Mars moving into Libra today, the “me first” planet is frustrated to have to put others before him. But that is Libra’s style. So our Mars energy will be challenged for several weeks now. The middle third of the day will be more positive as Jupiter adds generosity to our spirit. In the evening sparks could fly if we don’t keep our patience.

Theme: Creative and ambitious

The asteroid Pallas-Athena unites with Mercury today giving us new found creativity. The Moon is in Capricorn for a few days which fosters ambition. Can we still be warm and nurturing to others? With so many planets harmonizing in earth signs there is an an ease in working on practical matters. Be aware of the changes that are happening on a global level. Theme: Transform your life

As Pluto and Mars continue to be in close harmony this flow of energy supports making positive changes. At the same time Neptune is draining our energy a bit and can contribute to deceitful action. Besides Mercury four other planets are retrograde. Generally, this is a time for research and finishing old projects. The time of year for starting anew is the upcoming winter and spring.
