Theme: Expanding your mind

The Sun is square Saturn bringing contraction into your life – and reinforcing the need at this time to work within existing structures. The Moon in Capricorn is comfortable with this scenario and achieving practical outcomes. At the same time, Jupiter is opposite Mercury, expanding our minds and horizons, and drawing our gaze upwards to bigger vistas. In other word this aspect invites us to lift our gaze and see that we are part of a greater tapestry.

Theme: Diligence pays off

With the Vertex conjunct Saturn today, effort is rewarded. Saturn is currently in the sign of Pisces, which is concerned more with spirituality and connecting to the divine, rather than real life, the concern of Saturn. Saturn in Pisces, therefore, makes it harder than usual to create structure and set boundaries. This can make ordinary life more challenging including fulfilling contractual obligations. Mercury is retrograde until the 15th of December making it even more important to ensure the fine print is understood.

Theme: Working for Yourself

The positive combination of the Sun and Mars in a trine is favorable for working alone for your own benefit. Physical activity is also favored for one more day. It is good to take stock in what your current projects are and to throw yourself into them vigorously. The Moon is in Scorpio today and harmonizes with Venus, especially in the middle of the day. This favors socializing, and indulging in food and drink.

Theme: Shadow and light

The Moon has entered the sign of Scorpio bringing deep feelings to the surface that make you want to keep your own counsel, at least until you’ve sorted through things. While the Moon remains in Scorpio it’s an intense couple of days leavened by the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius, who blithely aid us in venturing into territory others keep well away from. There is a nice aspect of Venus to the part-of-fortune bringing good fortune in connection with others today.

Theme: Taking time for reflection and planning

With the Moon Void of Course most of the day (4.14 am to 7.21pm EST USA) it’s not a day to initiate great change. Rather, seek time to take stock today and prepare for changes to come. It’s an opportune time for planning and applying effort in building relationships. With the Sun in Sagittarius it is also a time to link your ideals to the actual steps needed to achieve your ideals.

Theme: Inner cleansing

With the Moon conjunct Vesta today take the time to turn inwards to listen to your heart and your spiritual needs. Once you identify them you can attend to them. The Moon in Libra invite us to see both sides of the coin and weigh up all the necessary elements to make an informed decision. This is particularly important with Mercury retrograde, and the need for attention to detail. However, with the Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius detail may not be uppermost in your mind.

Theme: Finding the right balance

Theme: A Fortunate Day

The Sun is united with the part of fortune today. Especially the during first half of the day, something good should happen. The Moon is in Virgo for one more day, which favors cleaning and organizing. This is also the last day before Mercury goes retrograde until December 15th. This is a day for lively discussions, or perhaps arguments. But this will be less so by the evening.

Theme: Ease with Making Changes

For a couple more days we have an easy aspect with the Sun and Pluto. This means that we can get to the bottom of issues that have been a concern for a while. It is best, of course, to have the greater good in mind. Some tension will arise, especially in the first half of the day, as the Moon is 90 degrees from the Sun. The detail focused Virgo Moon is a good balance to the big picture oriented Sagittarius Sun and Mercury.

Theme: A New 19 Year Cycle

Pluto has entered the sign Aquarius, and this will influence the next 19 years. Aquarius has to do with social reform, progressive ideals and new technologies. With the planet Pluto there is usually a few years of a breakdown phase. Some things and ideas need to be destroyed, and then the new will emerge. In the shorter term, we are almost (11/25) to Mercury retrograde which will end on 12/15. And the Moon leaves prideful Leo late in the day, and enters analytical Virgo for a few days.
