Theme: Incisive

With Mercury and Venus in Virgo there is an urge to focus on the minutiae sometimes at the expense of the bigger picture. Details have their place, and with Mercury retrograde the devil is in the detail. Thankfully with the Moon in Sagittarius there is more willingness to lift ones head and see the horizon. Details are important but so is the end goal.

Theme: Investigation

With the Moon in Scorpio you can mine the inner workings of the unconscious mind to gather insights that are usually hidden from you. At this time your more likely to keep your privacy in order to contemplate your life, and also strategize which is helpful in order to make progress with challenging goals. With the Sun square Uranus there is a restlessness that invites some restraint in order to understand your motivation in order to move forward.

Theme:  Double Whammy

The Moon moving into Scorpio may bring up passionate feelings and reactions by stirring the depths of our subconscious. This is magnified by Moon square Pluto ( ruler of Scorpio) bringing compulsive behaviors and hidden habitual tendencies to the surface.
These may arise due to a power play between you and another person. If you can confront repression, either of you or within you, with honesty, it will assist to transform the situation. Seeing the truth is imperative for real change to occur.

Theme:  Inspired or Scattered

Mercury retrograde is squaring Uranus over the next week. Expect sudden changes in your schedule. Don’t assume anything as surprises will certainly occur. You can feel positively inspired, thoughts come quickly and you can think outside of the box.
But without flexibility you can’t keep up the fast pace, becoming easily nervous and scattered. Impulsive actions can cause accidents. It is also a time to reflect on mistakes made previously and plan for future course redirection.

Theme:  Gone Beyond

With the Moon in Libra today there is a sense of fairness and seeing all sides point of view. It’s a very good time for any mediation or conflict resolution and can produce harmony through diplomacy.
The Moon is also aligned with Jupiter and Mars that allows for expression of feelings with openness and sincerity. An awareness of a larger picture allows us to go beyond personal demands and gives us the potential to experience generosity of spirit and optimism.

Theme: Harmony?

The Moon moves into Libra for the next couple of days. Libra seeks to find harmony in all things, especially relationships but the process of establishing harmony is not won overnight and before the harmony there is prevarication, contemplation and decision making to be had. Communication afflictions continue to be happily modified by the proximity of Venus to Mercury retrograde. As Mars moves closer to Jupiter you have more confidence and energy to make beneficial changes.

Theme: Smoothing the bumps

With the Sun sextile Jupiter and Mercury conjunct Venus there are silver linings to even the most challenging of moments, like a good fairy watching over proceedings and intervening where necessary. The dark Moon is conjunct the south node provoking past habits that are out-moded. You can pause and re-set these patterns with a view to freeing yourself from past fears and limitations.

With the Moon in Virgo conjunct Mercury in Virgo attention to detail and being precise are themes. It’s also a happy earth day with the Moon in Virgo so to all gardeners and farmers today it’s especially fruitful for accomplishing plans. The Sun in Leo is less interested in Virgo detail but the energy of its sunny disposition warms up everyone. Mars square Saturn and Mercury square Uranus today add sudden events and challenges, all of which can be harnessed for good if you are flexible.

Theme: Planting seeds and checking communication

The new Moon brings new possibilities and the best time to plant the seeds for new projects. With Mercury now retrograde but conjunct Venus there are mixed blessings in communications. On the one hand you have to continue to be mindful and double-check what was said or written, and on the other hand you have the helping hand of Venus when communications go awry, which is magnified today with the proximity of the Moon.

Today’s Leo New Moon can ignite creativity and self expression. Starting a new project or idea will fill you with optimism and enthusiasm.
