Theme: Seeing in the Dark

Today is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse bringing transformation and sometimes abrupt change. The earth momentarily blocks the illumination from the sun that creates a full moon, allowing the shadow to reveal what is hidden in our subconscious. This is potentized by the Moon in Scorpio, the sign of death and rebirth; the phoenix rising from the ashes. Mercury retrograde is a time for introspection and contemplation. You are less driven to communicate outwardly, although it may trigger external events in regard to your self/ individuality. This intensifies as Mercury moves closer to the Sun each day. So expect delays, frustrations, communication glitches for sure. On a deeper level, look at changes you want to make in your life that have been on hold a long time. There is a New Moon Solar Eclipse today activating energy around new beginnings and endings simultaneously. This is the 2nd New Moon in Aries, the first occurred on the spring equinox at the 1st degree of Aries and now on the very last degree. Aries denotes a new awareness of self particularly in relationship to the New Moon cycle. As it’s in the last degree it represents the karmic completion of lessons learned within that sign. Solar Eclipses always bring change and the effect can carry through up to 6 months. The changes may come through unexpected circumstances and connections as both Uranus and the North Node are also involved.
