Early in the day a breakthrough occurs!  Good news!  Hooray!  Then change occurs and men and women are out of sync.  This does not undo the breakthrough, fortunately.  That is here to stay.  Disagreements about finances and money matters can cloud the day.  Pride issues come to the fore, and it’s important to respect and acknowledge the good others have done.  If something has gone in a direction you don’t like, speak up but remember George Washington’s words “Wherein you reprove another be un-blamable yourself, for example is more prevalent than precepts.”

That which arises from the Body, Speech and Mind of the Buddhas cannot be treated like ordinary possessions. They are extraordinary.

That which we ourselves have set aside to honor the Body, Speech, and Mind of the Buddhas cannot be used in ordinary ways.

That which has been honorably, nobly offered to the Buddhas cannot be taken back, including sacred vows and blessing offerings.

That which is honorably and properly consecrated according to one’s Lineage may not be un-consecrated at will. Not done properly? No problem.

We must finally discriminate between the ordinary and the sublime! When a gift is given to Tsawei Lama it must remain so to avoid lower realms

All I have accumulated, every drop of merit, commitment, property, land, all extraordinary and pleasing belongs to Kyabje His Holiness Penor Rinpoche!

A stable energy permeates the day.  It’s a good day to shop and to deal with financial matters.  Spend time with women and children you are especially fond of.  An emotional benefactor is in the environment.  This person cares for you and will do everything possible to help you.  Someone is compassionate and understands what you want to do and how hard you have been working to accomplish your goals.  Such a relief to be understood and appreciated!  You are STILL in the midst of a balancing act where two wildly different agendas must be taken into consideration.  Hang in there.

“His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche and all Palyul tulkus, khenpos, lamas, nuns, and students offer their strong heart-felt prayers for the victims of the recent earthquake.

This quake occurred in North Eastern Kham in an area historically called Gapa (once known as the Nangchen Kingdom). The Chinese name for the area is the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous region of Qinghai Province. This is very close to Amdo; Tharthang Monastery (also called Palyul Monastery) is close to the epicenter. The worst hit areas are Kye-ku-do of Qinghai and Dza Chu Kha of Sichuan Province. His Holiness Penor Rinpoche’s close friend, His Eminence Choeje Ayang Rinpoche, is from the area. His Eminence’s South Indian monastery is in the same area as Namdroling.

There was no damage at all in Palyul Monastery although the quake was felt there. We will update this page if and when we learn more.” from http://www.palyul.org

Today starts slowly and then picks up speed.  You may find yourself opposed by an implacable force or governmental agency.  Don’t argue. You can’t win.   The law is the point today, so be sure everything you do is on the up and up. You feel emotional.  It’s an excellent time to take a sentimental journey.  Think of the past; get in touch with family members or children.  Reminisce.  Call your mother! But remember D. T. Suzuki’s words “Wherever and whenever the mind is found attached to anything, make haste to detach yourself from it. When you tarry for any length of time, it will turn again into your old hometown.”  Visit a while but don’t stay.

Men are particularly imaginative and creative today.  Someone could come up with the perfect thing, brand new!   Today is a complex day in which creativity is highlighted and at the same time you could get into trouble if you don’t follow the script – a paradox, but one that often arises in life. If you become too emotional about something pay attention!  It isn’t going to work out. Toward the end of the day you could have to deal with a serious situation that is surprising and requires a lot of work.  Doctors, all healing people and groups are excellent today.  If you have a problem widen your scope, look at the big picture, and you’ll find the solution.

Chatterbox!  Gift of gab!  You can actually say THE THING that seals the deal today, so don’t hold back on the conversation or phone call.  Speak your piece, and what you wish for could just be achieved.  Athletic activity is favored as is anything requiring dexterity, strength and speed.  Write the letter or email; call the person.  You could receive news or information that settles something in your mind.  Listen to new ideas.  Be open-minded.  Max Ehrmann says, “Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull & ignorant.  They too have their story.”  Good advice for today.

When, I ask, will such a Lama as His Holiness Penor Rinpoche come again? Whose life given to purity, every word the nectar of Bodhicitta- when?  Tsawei Lama!

No one can substitute, no one else can speak to my heart, no one else opens my eyes, empowers my speech, matures my mind. Tsawei Lama-Return!

Kyabje His Holiness Penor Rinpoche is Buddha. Since his Parinirvana I feel even closer to him. Calling from afar, he answers, he is here he is BUDDHA!

Wow. I’m crying, deer are gathering in the field, a powerful storm is coming, and Kyabje His Holiness Penor Rinpoche appears, I am not alone. E ma ho.
