Theme: Deepening

With the Sun now in Scorpio the focus is on research and investigation including deepening insights into what motivates you. Having insight frees you from habits grip. Scorpio is ruled by both Mars and Pluto, planets of action, endurance and transformation. Scorpio is a water sign so feelings are part of what is illuminated at this time. The Moon is conjunct Mars in Cancer opposite Pluto, a potent mix. Strong feelings are triggered: patience and non-reactivity give you time for reflection.

Theme: Home away from home

With the Moon in Cancer you seek to nurture others and be nurtured. Home can be a catalyst for grounding yourself and restoration. Home for some is the great outdoors, for others a cave. The Moon in Cancer often brings up the past and our connection to our parents, and family, and all that that entails. With Mars also in Cancer it’s a good time to identify what will help you move forward from the ties that bind you to the past.

Theme: Seeking harmony and an expanded view

With the Sun trine the Moon conjunct Jupiter you can expect better outcomes today. This more benefic disposition is connected to your more optimistic and confident outlook. As with all things Jupiterian you have to watch for over-confidence and bombast. Venus is now in Sagittarius bringing an adventurous spirit and frankness in your relationships. Pluto is finally moving out of Capricorn into Aquarius. When Pluto enters Aquarius on November 19, a new phase of transformation to societal structures will begin.

Theme: Serious Thinking

Saturn is the Planet of the day as it trines with Mercury and squares the Moon. The former aspect indicates that this is a few days for critical thinking, and detailed work. This favors organizing and practical matters. The square to the Moon leaves us feeling isolated, and there is the danger of depression especially in the middle of the day. The Moon is in Gemini for two more days which should keep us from fixating on a particular mood.

Theme: Another Yod

The Sun is the apex of the Yod again today, but now the Moon is conjunct Uranus as one leg, and Neptune is the other leg. So we are having to make small adjustments in our approach to our activities, and we will feel ill at ease emotionally today. The Moon will transition today from stable, secure Taurus to lively, changeable Gemini this afternoon. Expect a faster pace by the evening.

Theme: Smorgasbord of Energy

The most dangerous of many connective astrological bodies is the square of the Sun to Mars. This indicates serious ego conflicts with others. And we will soon have Mars opposed to Pluto which will be even more combative, and potentially violent. There is Juno conjunct the Sun which adds a harmonizing effect, and the Sun is still in Libra, the sign of balance. And the Sun is in a Yod with Uranus and Neptune for a few days. We will have to make some adjustments now.

Theme: Healing and health

With the Moon poised between the asteroids and mythical figures of Chiron and his daughter Hygeia, health, healing and hygiene are key themes today. The Moon rules our day-to-day routines, including hygiene, which are important in keeping us healthy overall. Today, this connection is more obvious. Health is also about our psychological health, and includes healing from the past. Theme: Penetrating insights

Mercury has moved into Scorpio bringing with it a laser-like focus on matters at hand. It’s a good time for research and investigation, and understanding the power of words, both positive and negative. The Moon is conjunct Saturn in Pisces bringing a serious perspective today. It’s a good aspect to get work done if you can maintain your attention. The sign of Pisces also enables us to see the true nature of suffering.
