Theme: Stretching in all directions

With the Moon Void of Course most of the day you can tackle a lot of projects with loose ends that have been dragging on. It’s not those big projects but those endless small things that we put on hold that can benefit from your attention today. You are energized and you have help today so take advantage of that. But where would life be if there wasn’t a counterpoint? You can feel overly burdened today, but with diligence and discipline you can move forward.

Theme: Sorting through

With the Sun in Libra you can make decisions about things – albeit considered decisions. But give yourself a time limit- otherwise you’ll be stuck in the bardo of being undecided and you could be there for a very long time! The Moon in Aquarius trine Jupiter gives you an expanded view of things right now and an ability to see the big picture. But with Moon square Jupiter you also feel overloaded. This feeling can be reframed: you can remind yourself of the wish to be of benefit and the art of the possible.

Theme: Intense Emotions

For much of the day the Moon is united with Pluto which not only intensifies emotions, but gives clear insight into them. Can we be true to our values during this time? Venus and Mars harmonize for two more weeks. This favors forming and maintaining relationships, general socializing and financial opportunities. The Sun is inconjunct Saturn today, which indicates responsibilities can seem burdensome until we make an adjustment in our approach.

Theme: Down to Earth

Especially during the middle of the day, there is a grand trine in earth signs involving the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter. This is a nice combination, giving us sensitivity and a broad overview concerning our thinking and communications. We are practical, ambitious, and comfort oriented. With the Sun joining Mars in Libra for the next 2 1/2 weeks we are focused on how we relate to others, and we seek beauty and harmony.

Theme: On the Other Hand…

Late in the evening the Sun enters Libra today, so happy birthday all Libras. Indecisiveness is a common theme, as Libras weigh the scales and can have difficulty choosing. Tensions arise, particularly in the second half of the day as the Moon makes a square aspect to the sun. Small crises arise or perhaps if we are lucky we just feel a burst of energy. The Moon enters Capricorn, and we become colder and more ambitious late in the day.

Theme: Considered communication

With the Moon square Mercury, the planet ruling communication, expect some misunderstandings followed by the the need to be patient and work through the situation. An open minded response can help enormously. The Sun is pulling away from its trine with Pluto but the energy of that aspect is still engaged, including being able to draw from a deep inner resource to access energy and insights. Enjoy the last day of the Sun in Virgo.

Theme: Busy busy

There is a lot of planetary activity today mostly good with one exception – Moon square Saturn. Do you feel in a bind today? Saturn has that effect – sometimes it even feels like the walls are closing in! And then it goes away – until the next time. Theme: Letting go

With the Sun exactly opposite Neptune your sense of purpose, reality and solidity is challenged. It’s a time to let go of your personal agenda and wishes and direct your energy towards the greater good. Sometimes this aspect can open up a veritable Pandora’s Box of hope and fear. Opening the box also lets energy flow out and movement which is a beneficial thing. The Moon opposite Uranus and Jupiter today brings both unexpected blessings and unexpected disruptions.

Theme: Virgo double vision!

With the Sun and Moon in Virgo it’s a double dose of Virgo focusing your attention on health matters, daily routine and mindfulness and discernment around communication. And of course Virgo bestows practical wisdom – on a good day! If you’re having a bad hair day, from a Virgo perspective, it would be something like not seeing the wood for the trees, being overly finnicky and critical, and not sticking up for yourself enough. Which will it be? Sun opposite Neptune can also raise self-confidence issues because your boundaries are less clear. Compassion-in-action is a helpful antidote.

Theme: Kite Pattern

The somewhat rare kite configuration occurs particularly today with Neptune, the planet of compassion and illusion, at the top. This is a dynamic indicator of success in life, so have at it! This energy is best used for compassionate and spiritual causes. The Moon continues in Libra for one more day, and pulls us towards our past tendencies.
