Theme: “I promise you the Sun and Moon”

I can promise you today that the only major astrology energies that are not tied in and intensely interacting, are the Sun and Moon. Thus our sense of purpose and our emotions will be challenged. We should be patient with ourselves and others: this too shall pass. For 4 days Mercury is “squaring” Neptune. This will feel like Mercury retrograde: communicate as clearly and carefully as possible. It is a powerful opportunity for spiritual learning. But be careful to stay grounded in reality, and wait to start any big project if you can. What I try to tell young people is that if you come together with a mission, and it’s grounded with love and a sense of community, you can make the impossible possible. ~John Lewis

Theme: One More Left

Neptune is slowly moving forward now. Only Uranus is still retrograde, until mid January. Uranus is shaking us a bit today and tomorrow. Look for an adjustment that can be made for life to move more smoothly. Enjoy the uplifting, triple Sagittarius energy today. Talk about religion, philosophy and foreign places, but remember to be tactful and appologize if needed. From the middle through the second half of the day we can be caught in fantasies and serious delusions. Prayer, meditation and restraint are useful then. I am a Buddhist, and always will be. Theme: Jumping Jupiter!

All the planets, Sun and Moon are again in less than half of the 360 degree sky. This concentration of energy is centered with Jupiter at 25 degrees Aquarius. This indicates that we are learning and growing in terms of our social values now. Mars is in a powerful position interacting with Jupiter, Pluto and Venus. This is a time to become clearer about what our objectives are, and then we can proceed steadily. Beware of moving too quickly, overlooking details and selfish ego boosting. Theme: Insight

There are lots of opportunities for insight and reflection today and many meetings with like minded people. The Moon in Scorpio brings a searching gaze and deep curiosity, and the Sun in Sagittarius brings an open minded exploration of  life and the universe. The Saturn square to Uranus is cause for suffering but out of tension comes a new way of being also. Desire, hatred and ignorance And the actions they generate are non-virtues. Theme: A testing moment

The Moon makes a difficult aspect to Saturn and Uranus bringing tension and heightened emotions. With the Moon moving into Scorpio it’s those closest to us that provide the most challenges. The good thing is that this aspect passes swiftly. Neptune goes direct today diminishing confusion and anxiety and creating more pathways for spiritual contemplation. With the Sun in Sagittarius there is always blanket optimism in even the most difficult times. Do not investigate phenomena: investigate the mind.~Padmasambhava

Theme: Deepening our connections

As Venus approaches Pluto our connections with others and the world we live in are deepened by force of circumstance and our ability to courageous in our relationships. Theme: Tension

Until the middle of January we are either impatient, wanting immediate, dramatic change or resisting and holding to the status quo. The tension can effect our relationships and our work. If we do not consciously deal with this energy accidents can occur. Yet today our emotional side is more balanced than usual, and we can discuss feelings with ease. Theme: From Fuzzy-headed to Intense

The morning through lunchtime will be confusing as the Moon opposes Neptune. We may be reacting to our subconscious when we think we are focused outside ourselves. Then later in the day we become intense and passionate but at the same time grounded. This reenforces the Mars and Venus “sextile” (60 degree angle) that is at a peak now. This is also a good time for creative and financial endeavors. Neptune is going out of its retrograde cycle in a few days, leaving only Uranus slowing us down. 0-2 planets retrograde indicates a good time for achievements. I pretty much try to stay in a constant state of confusion just because of the expression it leaves on my face. ~Johnny Depp

Theme: Subjectivity and Struggles with Change

As Mercury unites with the Sun for one more week, objectivity is hard to come by. We have an optimistic outlook, but can be sloppy with details. The “square” (90 degree angle) of Saturn to Uranus is present again like it was from mid January until mid July. This time it moves on for good in mid January 2022. We can expect more upsets in financial markets, and a struggle between traditional values and radical change. There are many issues that must be faced on national and global stages, during this period.
