Theme: Discover the New

For the next several days the Sun is trine Uranus which favors the new and exciting. This is a time for new discoveries and being true to ourselves. Sciences, technology and the occult are good subjects to study now. This is not a time to relax, but also not a time to pursue a highly disciplined endeavor. The balance of the elements is off now: 5 of 10 main energies are in earth, and none are in air. We are more interested in the material, practical concerns than the intellectual, social ones.

Theme: Past connections

With the Moon conjunct the south node today your past connections with key individuals bears fruit. Even so, these connections also indicate a need to move in a different direction in your relationships. The Moon in Libra encourages us to bring balance into our lives. The Sun in Capricorn asks that we understand what is possible within the material limitations we are dealing with; and yet it’s important to be innovative, which the approaching trine between the Sun and Uranus encourages us to do.

Theme: Junctions

If you can find space to explore your inner world you will have more insights in dealing with any confusion or anxiety you may experience – plus new ways to deal with subtle thoughts. Theme: An interesting day

You won’t be bored to day. With a grand trine between the Sun, Moon and Uranus the day flows more easily and more interestingly. The continuing square between Mercury and Neptune ushers in all kinds of inner and out themes – ranging from spiritual insight to spiritual deception, attraction to addictive substances and working with the unseen. It can even involve something as mundane as working with gas. The Moon is waning in Virgo meaning it’s a good time to tidy up and attend to details.

Theme: Isolating

With the Moon opposed to Saturn for most of the day, we will feel more alone in our relationships. The challenge is to not isolate, and to not think depressively. Don’t believe everything you think today. This too shall pass. On the positive side for the next few weeks Jupiter is harmonizing with Saturn. This blends expanding our life with handling responsibilities. Take advantage of this time to make careful changes in your life, nothing big until Mercury goes direct 1/2/2024.

Theme: Slow Down

Especially in the middle of the day the square from the Moon to Uranus indicates that we have hair trigger impulses to be independent and rebellious. This enhances the chances of miscommunication, as Mercury is retrograde for a few more days. We are ill at ease emotionally, and crave excitement. The Mars square Neptune lowers our vitality, and is psychologically depressing. The best approach is to turn towards spiritual activity.

Theme: Intellectual Energy

Mercury is conjunct Mars for one more day. This can be a powerful time for intellectual pursuits. But our ego will be stronger and we can over identify with our ideas. It is best to pick your battles: Is this really worth an argument? In the first half of the day the Moon is square Jupiter. This is generally positive: We are generous and broadminded. But arrogance, particularly concerning religion and philosophy, is a danger.

Theme: Daily routine

With a predominance of aspects to the moon (mostly favorable) your daily routine runs more smoothly, and you have more spaciousness in your mind helping you along the way. You also have more capacity to dive more deeply into challenging activity. Venus in good aspect to Pluto indicates the deepening of relationships. Energy levels fluctuate while Mars is square the Sun.

Theme: Mindful speech continues!

With Mercury exactly conjunct Mars there is a drive to get your viewpoint across without necessarily understanding the nuances of communication and how to achieve understanding. Mars compels us to act before we necessarily understand the consequences of our action – or in this case speech. The good thing today is that Sun is trine Jupiter which gives us time to expand our understanding of compassion and the human capacity to be heard and feel heard.
