Do not block anyone on the grounds of historical preferences, old issues, etc. Drop the past and move on. Things are looking up. A disturbing situation has ended and new opportunities beckon. Ignore a last minute worry, it’ll vanish when a friend or group makes an appearance and changes your outlook. Mark Twain said, “The proper office of a friend is to side with you when you are in the wrong. Nearly anybody will side with you when you are right.” Spend time with others rather than alone. It’s an odd, uncertain time, so sit tight and wait until you’re sure before you take action. Overwork is the danger of the day. Leaders make sweeping statements that are best politely ignored. So, what’s good today? Hanging out with friends, spending time with mechanical devices (computers, cars), catching up on correspondence and love.

The thing you worry about this morning won’t happen, so relax. Avoid the temptation to do too much, you’ll have to redo it all tomorrow. This is an excellent time to remember the best, truest advice you ever received and put it into action. Anonymous said, “Only take advice from a person who has succeeded in the area under discussion.” Mopey feelings dissolve and a happy event perks you up as the day progresses. What’s good? Refraining from expressing downbeat feelings, giving yourself time to recover from something, and fun with pets or small projects. (Hang the decorations! Feed the hamster!) Relaxing with your closest companion or partner is wonderful.

Organization is important now: decide what you’re going to do, make a list, check it twice and get moving! This will prevent the scattered, darting-from-thing-to-thing-without-meaningful-completion that is possible today. Listen carefully to what people have to say and avoid the temptation to finish their sentences. Avoid jumping to conclusions! It’s a good time. Kurt Vonnegut said, “Please notice when you are happy and at some point think, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.'” Spend time with those you love, offer assistance if you are asked, plan a trip, review your commitments and keep them in mind. Engaging in vigorous exercise is good too.
