Friends and groups are fun, fun, fun! “The more the merrier,” is the correct phrase for today. Going to the post office? Take your four best buddies! Everything goes better with a group. A final push on a sensitive matter comes and tomorrow everything changes. Water is highlighted, things are in flux, and medical treatments turn out differently than advertised so be careful. Pay attention to the here and now rather than to the past. Ludwig Wittgenstein said, “He who lives in the present lives in eternity.” What’s good today? A surprising sense of freedom and excitement, and renewed opportunities.

A surprise comes early in the day, and something that seemed solid is toppled. A fence, your favorite tree? Fear not- something better replaces what came down. This is a terrible time to “express yourself” to someone, to recount your most tragic feeling of victimization or to declare your secret love. Ridicule or derision is possible. Oscar Wilde’s cynical statement, “One must have a heart of stone to read of the death of Little Nell without laughing,” sums up the mood. What’s good? Medical interventions are excellent, business prospers and a situation that seemed unmanageable is brought under control.

Head back to your normal routine today for stability, and notice the inspired thinking that prevails as you come up with a new plan for action. This is a great day to make five, ten or twenty year plans for your future, and be sure to put safety and security first. If an emergency strikes, follow the rules for the situation immediately. A disappointment looms in the next day or so as a result of holding too strictly to your belief system. Flexibility is crucial. Change one part of your plan and success is possible, give nothing and disappointment ensues. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, “The lowest ebb is the turn of the tide.” What’s good? Friends, groups, conversations, and partnership.

An irritation will pass quickly today provided you behave in a reasonable manner. Leaders are not at their best and are advised to remain in seclusion, considering their next move. Stridency combines with feelings of victimization to create a sense of dismay and sadness. The solution lies in group activity, in joining up with others who agree with you, and in a sense of camaraderie. Benjamin Disraeli said, “Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for truth.” What’s good today? Continuing your normal routine, engaging in business as usual, medical interventions, and a powerful sense of belonging with a group that shares your values.

The urge to tell others what to think is overwhelming for everyone, and that’s the problem. Consider writing out your views and saving them for the appropriate time: when someone is listening. Don’t mistake silence for agreement when expressing your views, people are simply avoiding trouble. Count your blessings today and you’ll see things with a more benign eye. William Shenstone said, “The proper means of increasing the love we bear our native country is to reside some time in a foreign one.” A sudden opportunity appears that has no bearing on what’s concerning you now. Be willing to look in a different direction, to come out of your current fixation enough to notice and act on it. You’ll be glad you did!

Share information with your leader or group and then wait two or three days before taking action. Timing is everything now: it’s possible to do the right thing at the wrong time and fail. Argh! An immediate issue is that everyone thinks they are right and nobody wants to be barked at, so avoid ideological discussions. Dale Carnegie said, “A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.” Friendliness and compassion work where stridency fails. Put yourself in others’ position and you’ll make friends today, and possibly change minds. This is a great day for sensitivity, healing, artistry, everything to do with water and marine matters. If you’re pushing hard, push softer.

Harmony, this is your day! Happy aspects between major planets turn your attention to private matters, things you can easily accomplish and feel good about, as opposed to large issues where your input may not count. Be out and about early today and finish your errands before noon. Physical strength and coordination are pronounced; if you’ve been recuperating, you are back in the game! Three planets in Pisces tell you to spend time on healing and intuitive projects. Act promptly on your perceptions and then stop. George Santayana said, “Intelligence is quickness in seeing things as they are.” Art, medicine and resurrection are themes of the day. Something you thought was gone is back!

A private conversation clears up a tricky matter, and it must be kept private. Listen for the subtext- the thing that isn’t articulated- in all interactions and you’ll understand what is driving the current situation. Group activity is favorable and all sub-rosa matters are successful. Bruce Barton said, “The most important thing about getting somewhere is starting right where we are.” It’s quite important to understand who you are, what you value and where you stand. Think and talk things over with others today, it’s an intellectual time. Scientific matters are successful, technology flourishes, and machines play an important role, but compassion, sympathy and healing are the real winners today.

Someone makes a final show of authority today, generating disfavor in others. This is a poor day to demand respect but a great day to make friends. A rigid attitude morphs into a friendly, “hail fellow well met” mode as the day progresses. Shakespeare said, “The old order changes, yielding place to new, and God fulfills himself in many ways.” Do your best to fit into the new facts of life and avoid lamenting what’s gone. Love is here; someone who seemed gone for good is back, and a new source of inspiration is in the air. Apologize to anyone you have mistreated recently and make no effort to defend yourself. Be willing to accept apologies and put the past behind you. Happiness and the willingness to extend an olive branch, to make peace, is the gift of the day.

If you’re uncertain about something today, please refrain from doing it! Indecision is an inner warning system that you should heed. Floods, gas leaks, spoiled food, fog and covert activity play a significant role in the events of the day. Notice unusual odors, shifty people or anything that causes apprehension, and report your suspicions to those in charge. Leonardo da Vinci said, ” Just as courage imperils life, fear protects it.” Now that you’re being careful, this is a nice day for ice skating, artistic pursuits, visualization, meditation and sensitive interactions with others. Love is in bloom and compassionate people are at hand to help with every problem.
