A burst of energy provides a welcome respite from the lassitude of the times. You are ready to GO! Visit friends, communicate with everyone, go for a drive or short trip. Someone delivers a message that brings happiness and stimulates thinking. Are you giving a speech, writing for publication or preparing a class? This is your day. Lectures or concerts are inspiring and satisfying. Conversation is particularly emphasized today and a happy frame of mind lifts spirits. Look for the amusing in everything and the day goes well. Anonymous said, “Men love women, women love kids, and kids love gerbils. What’cha gonna do?” Burst out laughing and be good natured about everything- except an impulse toward contention, which should be avoided at all costs today.

Do not worry if you woke up unhappy, it’ll pass and the day has nowhere to go but up. And it does! Emotional stability is here and sensitive attention to detail solves every problem. An adviser points the way and pleasant companions are a boon. Time is still best spent in behind-the-scenes activity, with closest companions or alone. Groups push activities that are unsuccessful, unnerving and best avoided. Albert Einstein said, “Anyone can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius- and a lot of courage- to move in the opposite direction. What’s good today? Food, the cinema, music, art, ocean voyages, oil ventures, and anything that generates mental happiness and good will toward others.

The emotional roller coaster rolls on today and tempestuous feelings can drive the agenda if you aren’t careful. Everything seems to be coming apart. Or is it? The Moon in gentle, intuitive Pisces encourages you to relax, meditate and take time alone. You can navigate every storm by remembering to take it easy. This means scheduling down time between appointments, engaging in health regimens with happy results, and spending time near water in contemplation. Conversations with enjoyable people change your outlook, listening to your intuition changes your agenda, home improvements are great. Actually it’s time for a mini-vacation. Take advantage of the quick thinking that comes up with a solution to a problem. An “AHA” moment supplies an explanation you have needed to understand an equation. There’s an odd disconnect between rationality and emotion today. Be fully aware of which part of yourself you are using- your mind or your feelings- as you go through the day and use the appropriate faculty at the appropriate time. (Don’t complain about your mother to your boss, and don’t try to teach your baby calculus.). Harriet
Beecher Stowe said, “Common sense is seeing things are they are and doing things as they ought to be.” What’s good? Going for a drive or a walk, writing to others, humor, information and friends.

Friendship and groups are enjoyable today, spend time with your posse. A friendly gesture of goodwill enhances a partnership so step up if an opportunity arises and watch a relationship blossom. Ignore the temptation to push against a closed door, to use a battering ram to gain something that has disappeared. Stay away from things that confuse you and head straight toward that which you understand completely. Virgil said, “Believe one who has tried it.” A problem is slowly being resolved and will be gone soon unless you chase it. What’s good? Happy conversations where everyone has their say, ideas well expressed, scientific discovery, space travel and food.

If your emotional displays are getting the cold shoulder and people you’ve come to depend on are vanishing, consider whether your demeanor has become unreasonable. Are you asking more than people are willing to give, have you become a demanding companion? Others will change as soon as you change. Tunky Abdul Putra said, “Some people think that as soon as you plant a tree, it must bear fruit. We must allow it to grow a bit.” Fortunately, Venus is here with every charming trick up her sleeve- kind words, smiles, compliments and pleasing manners- to generate a happy mood. Forget criticism and demands for the time being, charm people with friendship and kindness, and watch your problems disappear.

Avoid making an effort to change something today, it’s more powerful than you think and will push back against any resistance. A new rule or proclamation generates strong feelings but the time is not right for counter-action. Rumi said, “Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.” Things that come apart today are put back together within three days. Go for a walk or a drive, speak with enjoyable people who encourage happiness in the moment. Food is excellent and it’s a good day to spend time with family and close friends.

Thinking turns serious today making this a good time to organize your affairs. Relax, the end is not near, just the end of the things you let slide because you were too busy to deal with them. Clean out the garage, organize the bills, wash the car, plow into anything you’ve let grow out of control. Planning and organization are highlighted today. Serious questions should be answered with respect and care; be aware that someone may need your help. Set your own plans aside and step up. Ray Everson said, “It takes a lot of thought and effort and downright determination to be agreeable.” Fortunately, chatty Venus in Gemini is on the job with smiles, Buddihist Tea Pet and kind words for everyone, and noble Mercury in Leo makes pronouncements that dignify and stabilize every situation.

An unexpected and favorable event appears mid-day today, buoying a generally grumpy segment of the population. News from afar is intriguing and head-turning. Domestic matters remain rambunctious and emotional. The true winners today come from two different directions. First, imaginative ventures – things you’ve thought and dreamed of- are closer to fruition than you think. Napoleon Hill said, “First comes thought; then organization of that thought into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.” Next, the power of pleasant communication interspersed with smiles, backslaps and handshaking is enormous. Speak agreeably and kindly and doors will open. Use harsh speech and they remain shut. Your choice.

This is an excellent day to plan travel and to consider the future. If you’re betting, bet long, what’s right in front of you continues to be volatile. Try not to focus on the emotions swirling around you. Erica Jong said, “The trick is not how much pain you feel- but how much joy you feel. Anyone can feel pain. Life is full of excuses to feel pain, excuses not to live, excuses, excuses, excuses.” Mercury moves into Leo, brightening options and communication, use it. Expand your thinking and listen to a confident, cheerful voice. Doctors and medical treatments are beneficial, the news is encouraging. Demands come in from multiple directions and you must prioritize. Try to do what everyone wants you to do and you’ll end up in a frazzled heap! It’s a good day to make phone calls, send emails, drive around, sight see, read, think and consider the future.
