Theme: Mercury on Fire

For two and a half weeks Mercury, our thought and communication is in Aries. This picks up the pace of our interactions, but can also indicate impatience and egotism about our ideas. This tendency is stronger because of the connection with Pluto for one more day. There is inner and outer serenity in the first half of the day. Theme: Revolution

As the Moon finishes its stay in Capricorn we have beneficial energy for prayer and meditation in the first half of the day. In the second half of the day the Moon unites with Pluto and bolsters the impulse to overthrow the existing structures. This is also a day to research and solve mysteries. Theme: Exciting and Sobering

Especially in the second half of the day we are looking for the new and unusual. We might be surprised that things don’t go as planned, but it will work out well if we can have mental flexibility. This piles on to the continuing impulsive energy of Mars square Uranus. Be careful driving or operating machinery. For the next week another celestial combination, Venus conjunct Saturn, has a stabilizing and restricting effect. This supports practical considerations in our relationships. Theme: Thinking Big and Moving Forward

Happy birthday to all Aries! You are fortunate (as we all are a bit for the next month), because the Sun is exalted in this sign. For 3 days Mercury unites with Jupiter, which is beneficial in most ways. Our thinking is broad-minded, and tolerant of other’s view points. We are able to plan and organize better than usual. The downside is overlooking details and being domineering. As the Sun in Aries helps us to move forward, the Moon in Scorpio for the next 3 days can lead to brooding and resentment. Theme: Keep Your Fingers Together

For the next week Mars, along with Venus, “squares” (90 degree angle) Uranus. This will bring up frustration with authority figures. Can we control our restlessness and impulsiveness with compassion? We will experience disruptions, and this is an opportune time to make changes. This is the last day with the Sun in Pisces. Take advantage of the spiritual energy. Theme: Full Moon

At 3:19 am EDT the full Moon occurs with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo. Then in mid morning the Moon moves into Libra. Tension comes to the surface, even if we are dreaming at this time. With the Moon in Libra for the next 3 days we seek harmony, beauty and balance in our lives. We also have extra power to transform our lives as the Sun “sextiles” Pluto for 3 more days. Theme: From Exciting to Disruptive

Mercury is closely “sextiling” Uranus today. This is an indication of having exciting encounters with others. Also we can approach an old problem with new insights. However the challenging angle between Venus and Uranus is drawing closer. This can bring disruptions in relationships, or at best bring problems to the surface that can be addressed. As the day moves on there will be difficulty thinking clearly. Turn towards prayer and meditation particularly late in the day. Theme: Humanitarian Aid

Mars and Venus cross into Aquarius this morning, and we are now more interested in social causes. They are both still united with Pluto for 3 more days, which bolsters ambition without kindness. Pluto continues in Capricorn for 2 more years. Can our wholesome, honest and compassionate structures survive Pluto’s last two years of assault? May we use the Pisces Sun, Jupiter and Neptune towards transcending the ego.
