Theme: Healing and health

With the Moon poised between the asteroids and mythical figures of Chiron and his daughter Hygeia, health, healing and hygiene are key themes today. The Moon rules our day-to-day routines, including hygiene, which are important in keeping us healthy overall. Today, this connection is more obvious. Health is also about our psychological health, and includes healing from the past. The Moon is in Aries, and like all fire-sign placements is courageous, and headstrong, when dealing with challenges.

Theme: Slowing down

Theme: Penetrating insights

Mercury has moved into Scorpio bringing with it a laser-like focus on matters at hand. It’s a good time for research and investigation, and understanding the power of words, both positive and negative. The Moon is conjunct Saturn in Pisces bringing a serious perspective today. It’s a good aspect to get work done if you can maintain your attention. The sign of Pisces also enables us to see the true nature of suffering.

Theme: Dynamic day

With a Grand Cross between the Moon, Mars, Chiron and Sun/Mercury it’s a deep yet dynamic time today, with opportunity for right action, and better aligning your inner purpose with your outer direction. This aspect invites healing of that part of the psyche that is reluctant to move forward. As the Moon approaches Pluto you can dig deeper than usual to find courage to take the next steps, as long as you are prepared to let go, a challenging challenge!

Theme: Action!

With the Moon in Capricorn, the Sun and Mercury in Libra, and Mars in Cancer – there is more activity than usual because these placements are in cardinal or activity oriented signs. Theme: New beginnings

The new moon brings new energy for new efforts for new beginnings. Growth is a theme at this time, initiating activity another. The Sun and Moon close together in Libra speak to our capacity for inner union and balance. The process of finding balance can take time: patience is a helpful friend. With the Dark Moon, New Moon and Mercury also close to one another the process of finding inner union involves acknowledging the dark as well as the light.

Theme: Flexibility

With the Moon in the mutable (changeable) sign of Virgo trine Uranus, it’s a good day to be flexible as the day brings change whether you invite it or not.
