Theme: Mindfulness

There is a lot of underlying tension building with the Sun approaching an exact square to Uranus and Mars approaching an exact conjunction with Pluto. So it pays to be mindful of your physical activity and orientation. Play it safe. Go slower. Mercury is in exact conjunction to Pluto providing penetrating insights into your psychological habits that need to change. You can also see what old personal psychological wounds prevent you from moving forward at this time.

Theme: Depth perception

With the Moon in an interesting aspect to the planet of communication, Mercury, and the planet of transformation, Pluto, there are strong habitual tendencies that bubble to the surface today. Any negative result is more muted as a consequence of the moon being void of course for much of the day. Still, there’s always room for improvement in developing patience and insight. The Sun in Aquarius offers a dispassionate view of feelings, which also helps standing back from one’s self to see what is going on.

Theme: Moving past challenges

But with the helping hand of Venus you are buoyed by your connections with others. You are more observant of your speech as well, and less driven by impulse. Theme: Finding the right balance

The Moon has moved into Libra bringing a focus on achieving balance in your daily life. Decisions take longer because of the considerations involved but the time taken also results in better decision making. The Moon in Libra also brings more social engagement which aligns more closely with the Sun in Aquarius, also an air sign. The air element which favors communication contrasts with the practical Capricorn earth energy that influences actions, thinking and relationships right now. You can lighten up.

Theme: Illumination

The Moon forms a T-square with the Sun and Jupiter bringing insights into challenges and re-framing difficulties. Jupiter, signals expansive energy, and even when you feel overwhelmed it can provide a steadying optimism. It doesn’t mean today will go smoothly but it does mean you see the big picture more easily, which gives you more perspective on situations. The Moon in Leo also adds more brio to the day and invites you to be both brave and bold.

I believe that freedom must be accompanied by a sense of responsibility. Theme: Transforming era

Pluto has moved into the sign of Aquarius where it will remain (notwithstanding a brief interlude in Capricorn from September 2-18) until March 8 2043. Pluto removes the old worn out modalities to allow space for new more aligned modalities. However, if there is resistance to change difficult outcomes from the build up in pressure can result. Pluto in Aquarius ushers in radical changes in society, community and technology. Those with major planets in Aquarius (think Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars in particular) can expect a particularly transforming, albeit challenging, time. Health, home, relationships and awareness of non-ordinary reality are in play today. You can ask yourself am I really seeing what is there? Attention to home and hearth helps with health. Consideration of relationships, and how to improve them by looking for the deeper causes of interactions, can help you understand them better. As the Sun has moved past Pluto now is the time to have recognize the old, habitual ways that prevent you from being your authentic self.

Theme: Generosity of spirit
