The news is the news today. Pay attention, something’s going on and everybody’s talking about it. Emotional satisfaction is associated with talk, so express yourself. If you can say it, you can solve it! New inventions and new ideas prevail, and you are temporarily drawn away from your true task: organizing, cleaning out and putting things where they belong. Don’t let yourself be confused or misled today. The urge to sleep or escape is very strong, and a siren call pulls you away too. Temptation lies out there, just beyond reach. Something is beckoning and you’re not sure what it is. Work a bit, relax a bit, then go back to work. Keep your long term goal in mind. Patrul Rinpoche said, “Do not take lightly small good deeds, believing they can hardly help. For drops of water, one by one, in time can fill a giant pot.”
