An insistent request or demand is upsetting. No matter how much you give, more is expected! If you’re feeling out of sorts, look into this area. It’s easier to be irritable with those nearby rather than to directly face the source of a relentless demand. Pride is the problem: you are sure you’re up to a job that’s driving you nuts. The solution? Speak directly to the boss, say you’re overwhelmed and watch the problem vanish. Organization is key today. Henry David Thoreau said, “It is not enough to be industrious: so are the ants. What are you industrious about?” Make and follow a list of tasks for yourself and let nothing distract you.
