A hunch is a winner. You can overhear a snippet of information that is amazingly accurate and potentially lifesaving, so listen up! (“This ship-the Titanic-gives me a bad feeling, lets’ postpone the trip.”) Instead go shopping for small-fry items such as socks, shoes, toothpaste, newspapers, etc. The printed and spoken word is powerful and potentially inflammatory. Back off if someone takes offense; you are shooting the breeze and they are serious. Short distance travel is tricky and
problematic, so travel if you must but return as soon as possible. John Howard Payne wrote, “Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam, be it ever so humble there’s no place like home!” Domestic matters bring happiness today.
