A partner wants to do one thing and you want to do something else. One side is stronger and more persuasive than the other and will prevail with the agenda. Go along graciously. Avoid the temptation to be pout-y and indecisive, instead count your blessings: someone wants to be with you! Speak directly and kindly to people who seem befuddled, giving specific instructions. Money mistakes can be corrected, but time is gone forever.” This is a nice day to get together with friends, and at the same time rest and relaxation is what’s needed most.
