It’s best to side with those in power today and offer respect to everyone of importance. Do not maintain an egalitarian attitude with someone you should defer to: do not behave like an American! (“We’re all the same”). A humble attitude will keep you safe and take you everywhere. Voltaire said, “It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong.” What’s good today?
