A sudden bit of resistance from an unexpected source is disorienting, but it’s a signal that you have been pushing forward so diligently that you didn’t notice a coalition forming in the opposite direction. What? You thought you were on target! Accept feedback without rancor or ill will, (“Why didn’t you tell me this before?”) and integrate the new information into your game plan. A friendly, gentle and inspired source broadens your agenda. Graciously accept all medical opinions, they are correct, even if they’re not what you expected to hear. Plato said, “Serious things cannot be understood without laughable things, nor opposites at all without opposites.” It’s a day of opposites, and the sooner you accept opposing views the better. Generous offers continue to come, and the actual danger is refusing to accept out of pride. Come on, be a gracious receiver!
