This is a wonderful day to enjoy friends and get togethers. A leader is magnanimous and makes everyone happy. A sense of spiritual uplift is all-pervasive, and enthusiasm about the future is palpable. Do make plans and put them into effect quickly, as Mercury goes retrograde on Jan 21, making forward action difficult. Plan now/act now, or else wait until Feb 11, when Mercury goes direct again. This is a wonderful time to expand your knowledge, to take on a new course of study. Learn tibetan? Memorize the laws of Peru? Go to graduate school? The more ambitious the undertaking, the greater the success. Give yourself time, and you’ll have a new skill set when you’re finished. Ben Stein said, “The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want.” What’s good today? Friends, good will, confidence, and dressing up.
