It’s a great day to spend time with your partner or with groups or friends. Conversely, it’s a poor day to confront public figures, to show people who’s boss, or to attempt diplomacy with a dictator. Avoid public functions, if possible; those in charge are not amenable to your wishes. The nicer you are, the meaner they are: they want you to go away, and will make you miserable until you do. in fact, avoid anyone who doesn’t smile at you today, and life will go smoothly. Willa Cather said, “I like trees because they seem more resigned to the way they have to live than other things do.” What’s good today? Wonderful friends, happy times with people who appreciate your company, choosing colors or beautiful things, and writing your memoirs.
