Back to work! Yes it’s Sunday, but you are nevertheless on the job, whatever it is. After a time of indulgence you are now able to watch your diet, take your vitamins and mind your p’s and q’s. This serious attitude impresses power figures, who have tolerated the excitement but admire a careful attitude. Andre Gide said, “Common sense consists of not letting oneself be dazzled by a sentiment, to the point of losing sight of everything else.” Be mindful of the fact that old issues are still being addressed and new things must be deferred for the time being. What’s good about today? Energy that won’t quit, loving people nearby, and an inspirational zeal that keeps your toes tapping.
