A dream or early morning conversation is emotionally satisfying. Women and children are in sync and willing to join forces in a work project. Bake cookies, clean house. Tend to the small tasks of life that keep things running smoothly: get a haircut, buy underwear, toothpaste, arch supports. Take vitamins, take your temperature. Call friends and ask their opinion about shampoo. Listen to people’s health worries. Everyone’s an expert and everyone provides first rate suggestions on everything you need to know. Spend fifteen minutes psychoanalyzing your pet. The little things take precedence today and it’s fun. Lama Surya Das said, “Everyone is a little crazy, especially me. Remembering this helps us lighten up.” You’ll know the energy has changed when you suddenly become indecisive and need a partner. When that happens it’s time to stop working on the small stuff and take a break. You’ve earned it.
