Confusion is possible, and there’s a chance you’ll rush off in the wrong direction before you know what’s needed. Make a list and check it twice. Then you will respond in a rational, not a defensive, manner. Listen, wait, think and then respond. This is the formula for today. A critic appears who has a couple of things to say to you. Again, listen, think and then respond. Be grateful that someone cares enough to point out problems. See this person as your true friend, someone who respects your ability to hear the truth.
