Do some serious thinking today about matters of life and death. Ask yourself, “If I knew I were going to die tomorrow, would I do this today? What would I do?” Are your affairs in order? Do your loved ones know you love them, or do you assume they know? Tell ’em! A change in direction can take place today, based on serious thought. You may leave things that aren’t intrinsically satisfying. Life gets better, not worse, as you do this. Why? You let go of non-productive habits and act more in accordance with your true wishes. Carlos Castaneda said “Any habit needs all its parts in order to function. If some parts are missing, the habit is disassembled.” It’s all up to you. Happiness enters the picture as the day progresses. A meeting with friends or family is great. Cook, talk, have a ball. Emotional generosity is in the picture, spread it around. See everyone as your child.
