Overconfidence! You have it. Buoyed up by recent successes you overreach, and you meet some stiff opposition. Be very aware of what you are doing, your expectations, assumptions and how you are presenting yourself. YOU could be the problem today. Robert Burns said in Scottish that needs little translation, “O would some power the giftie gie (give) us to see ourselves as others see us.” Put yourself in the other person’s shoes today. Look at yourself and what you are doing, and then proceed. Your ego will shrink and you will succeed.
