Beware of making a mistake and moving off in the wrong direction. Be flexible in your thinking, and be especially careful that you don’t grab a slogan and stick with it no matter what. G.K. Chesterton said, “My country, right or wrong” is like saying, ‘My mother, drunk or sober!'” Notice where you are stuck mentally, and change your mind, consider new options. Unexamined attitudes can cause you trouble today, but if you are alert, you will successfully move through this time. Your thinking improves.
