Authority figures are not necessarily favorable for you today. A miscommunication is possible. Dot your i’s and cross your t’s, then try again, more carefully, and you will be successful. Avoid an ego trip, and beware of people who are “leading with their pride.” Be careful that you get the job done. A temptation to be pulled off course by someone’s pride issue is a real danger. Compliment the person, and get back to work. You want results and you will get them if you stay focused on the job at hand. Arnold Glasgow said, “In life, as in football, you won’t go far unless you know where the goal posts are.” Keep your eye on the goal.
