Something is coming to an end. You must face a disappointing situation. A component of your life is out of touch with reality as it is. You are holding on where you should be letting go. Winston Churchill said, “A fanatic is one who can’t change his mind and won’t change the subject.” Recognize where you are being a fanatic, and change both your mind and the subject. Hint: it’s the area where you swore you would never give up. No need to entirely give up, but do change your strategy and the focus of your determination. Aim your energy in a different, more effective direction, and you are renewed.
