You’ve settled into a new routine and you aren’t as surprised by the change, which is not going away. You wake up wondering if it really happened; it did. You are tempted to engage in mindless gossip. This is fine as long as you understand that you’re relaxing and not doing anything worthwhile. You are blowing off steam with conversation. Take it easy – read the paper, go for a drive or write letters. Beware of sentimental thoughts that pull you back into something better left in the past.
