Stay very close to your clan, it is feeding and powering all other activities. Stick with what nurtures you. Someone may have moved in with you. Why? The nourishment you provide! Do your best not to cut others off for bad behavior, which is a temptation. Beware of group-think, of believing anyone who doesn’t agree with you is against you. Smothering can be a problem too. Organize your “family” like an outpost where people can return for grub and supplies. Create an attractive home base that welcomes but doesn’t stifle others. Independent souls are part of your family too but give them responsibility, according to their ability. Kurt Vonnegut said, “A flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance.”
