Theme: Dealing with practicalities, and a healing focus

The Moon moves into Virgo today bringing a focus on the earth, and healing whether it’s healing the earth, through simple acts such as gardening, or healing ourselves. Chiron opposite the Sun strengthens the healing focus on a metaphysical level. This aspect focuses our attention on any inner psychological wounds that impede our capacity to physically repair our body and mind. We are more sensitized today to our limitations in relation to others. Reflection is a helpful tool.

Theme: Reviewing relationships

With Saturn opposite Venus for the next while you can take the time to see what works and what doesn’t in your relationships with others. You may feel restrained and even corralled but it’s also an opportunity to be realistic about the limits of the possible in your dynamics with others. There is an underlying harmony between your sense of purpose and your feelings today which aids your insights. Life may have its challenges but there are also silver linings.

Theme: Perfectionism

In the second half of the day Venus enters Virgo, and we become more perfectionistic in our relationships. Can we perfect our side of the street and still be patient with the faults of others? The Moon has entered Leo for a few days, which brings out the need for play and creative self-expression. The Mars and Pluto square is peaking today. Use this energy carefully, and be kind to others.

Theme: Asserting Ourselves

The Moon joins the Mars and Pluto square for much of the day, giving us a cardinal t-square apex Mars, or even a cardinal grand cross, when you add in the south node. This is a time to take action, but in bursts of effort, not prolonged and steady. Expect opposition from others, even when well-intentioned. It is good to take advantage of the strong Libra energy. Way out all options before embarking on a cause.

Theme: Struggle or Transform

The square aspect between Mars and Pluto continues. This can cause us to bring opposition from others due to our ambitious tendencies, or perhaps run into others ambitions. So struggles ensue. Or we can potentially control the energy. Compassionate intentions always help. Then much can be accomplished in transforming the world around you. In the middle of the day the Moon challenges the Sun, bringing small tensions to the surface.

Theme: Feelings?

The Moon moves into Cancer today re-connecting you with family, home and the past. With the Moon in a water sign you can access your feelings more directly, if you choose. With Mars continuing to square Pluto you need to be more mindful than usual dealing with physical safety whether it’s driving or doing your normal day to day activity. Be a watchful warrior! You can ask yourself how your energy can be re-directed to the greater good rather than self-service: the former clears the way for pent up energy to move more freely and find a natural balance.

Theme: Decisions, decisions

With Mercury joining the Sun and Mars in Libra the energy of decision making comes to the fore including really weighing the costs and benefits. Sitting on the fence can only be a temporary arrangement. Behind the scenes, energetically speaking, Mars conjunct the south node square Pluto catalyzes strong reactions and varying degrees of anger. If you give into reactivity the cost will be high. Spend time tracing the origin story of past battles with yourself and others. Find healthy outlets for your energy. You have a choice to let go the past.

Theme: Self-detecting

With Mercury in good aspect to Pluto you can really drill down on your habits and patterns to find out what holds you back – or trips you up. You can become a detective for yourself! Other people have good advice today and there a harmony between the Sun and Moon today that can give you an holistic sense of purpose. You can feel pressured emotionally but it’s a passing feeling of constriction. Patience is the solution, with yourself and others.

Theme: Kite Again

Uranus and Pluto are again involved in a “kite pattern”. This time Mercury and Neptune are the opposing planets, the long stick of the kite. There is a challenge in terms of confusion and lack of clarity. But there is much spiritual potential. We can be very sensitive and compassionate. Communicate from this motivation and things will go well. The Moon is exalted in Taurus for a few days, which stabilizes our emotions.
