Theme: Busy busy

There is a lot of planetary activity today mostly good with one exception – Moon square Saturn. Do you feel in a bind today? Theme: Letting go

With the Sun exactly opposite Neptune your sense of purpose, reality and solidity is challenged. It’s a time to let go of your personal agenda and wishes and direct your energy towards the greater good. Sometimes this aspect can open up a veritable Pandora’s Box of hope and fear. Opening the box also lets energy flow out and movement which is a beneficial thing. The Moon opposite Uranus and Jupiter today brings both unexpected blessings and unexpected disruptions.

Theme: Virgo double vision!

With the Sun and Moon in Virgo it’s a double dose of Virgo focusing your attention on health matters, daily routine and mindfulness and discernment around communication. And of course Virgo bestows practical wisdom – on a good day! If you’re having a bad hair day, from a Virgo perspective, it would be something like not seeing the wood for the trees, being overly finnicky and critical, and not sticking up for yourself enough. Which will it be? Sun opposite Neptune can also raise self-confidence issues because your boundaries are less clear. Compassion-in-action is a helpful antidote.

Theme: Kite Pattern

The somewhat rare kite configuration occurs particularly today with Neptune, the planet of compassion and illusion, at the top. This is a dynamic indicator of success in life, so have at it! This energy is best used for compassionate and spiritual causes. The Moon continues in Libra for one more day, and pulls us towards our past tendencies. Or we can be bold and move in a new direction.

Theme: Feisty

The Moon unites with Mars for most of the day, which can lead to heated encounters with others. We will find ourselves irritable, hasty and perhaps careless. There are times to stand up for what is right, of course. Mercury is starting to move forward, but especially with the 5 outer planets all retrograde, this continues to be a time to be patient about outward progress. The Sun opposes Neptune for several days now. If we can handle the confusion and discouragement, we can see others with more spiritual depth.

Theme: The Good Earth

There is a grand trine in earth signs, involving the Sun, Uranus and Pluto for the next several days. This is a time of stability within change: some change is sudden and some more gradual. Especially when Mercury moves forward again at 4:24 pm EDT today it is time to try new, exciting activities. The Moon is opposed to Neptune during the first half of the day, which indicates strange moods and misunderstandings, during Mercury retrogrades last hurrah.

Theme: Enjoyment – sort of.

Today is an easier day with good planetary aspects to the Moon – and the fresh energy of a new moon. It’s the last official day of Mercury retrograde today but it’s stationary for a few more days so it’s really the 17th when Mercury goes truly direct, and you can say goodbye for a time to one particularly pesky retrograde planet. The Sun is in trine to Uranus and Pluto for the next week. Expect some major energy shifts.

Theme: Trouble shooting

With the Moon in Virgo conjunct Mercury opposite Saturn you can harness your mind for problem solving especially problems involving forethought, planning and attention to detail. You connect ideas more easily and can flow around obstacles – because you certainly can’t walk through them! Take advantage of the remaining time the Sun and Mercury spend in Virgo to sift and sort. It’s a good time to establish healing routines and identifying healing remedies for your health.

Theme: Earthen tones

There are a lot of planets in earth signs right now and the Moon joins the earth club later today when it moves into Virgo. Earth gives weight and ballast that can be grounding but too much earth creates an inability to step outside ones routine. So, fixed routines are in today – but with the Moon square Uranus expect some disruption. The trick will be re-setting your day once plans change. Venus and Juno are conjunct emphasizing close, committed partnerships. The challenge with Juno is idealization of the other.
