Theme: Feisty female energy
Today there is a strong focus on female energy yet it is in a challenging pattern. There are lessons in the areas of concerning domestic routine, close relationships, nurturing and privacy. Theme: Healing and forward movement
Today there is an opportunity to heal an old wound in order to forge a new productive path. This healing will leads to improved self-care. This is also a good time to improve relationships but exercise discrimination about new relationships that start at this time. With the Moon in Leo it’s time to be flamboyant and generous. People mistake any kind of experience that feels deep as a “spiritual” experience, not able to discriminate between something that feels spiritual and something that is an actual commitment and movement on one’s path. What I look for in a monk or nun is renunciation, faith, kindness, willingness to help, deep and sincere love of the Three Precious Jewels. What I don’t like in a monk or nun is wearing robes for the sake of status, or to dominate others, to make yourself seem important.
If vows are broken there are ways to restore most of them but you must actually perform them according to your Teacher’s instruction. The need to boss people around is a very bad reason to take or restore robes. And not to brag that you are a good practitioner, that is bad. As an ordained Buddhist you must not use your robes to make money or to put yourself up as “the boss.” Monks and nuns must be humble and help.

Theme: Disruption, depth and creativity
It’s hard to know where to start today as so much is going on. There is tension in the air and unexpected erratic behaviors that you will have to negotiate. On a mental level there is a desire to understand deeply what is happening, but don’t obsess. Today’s saving grace is a nice flow of creative energy which will serve the artist-within well. There is nothing fancy in flirting with danger. Why can’t people find the thrill by turning within? If you don’t experience this, you’ll be missing a spectrum of life that really does exist.~Prem Rawat
