Don’t let yourself be confused or misled today. The urge to sleep or escape is very strong, and a siren call pulls you away too. Temptation lies out there, just beyond reach. Something is beckoning and you’re not sure what it is. Work a bit, relax a bit, then go back to work. Keep your long term goal in mind. All you feel like doing is lounging on the couch and eating. It’s fine. You’re wiped out after an energetic week. Relax, take it easy and enjoy doing nothing. Everyone feels a bit off their game for
most of the day. But things start picking up in the late afternoon when a message or bit of news comes. Then everyone is talking. Something just happened that requires an adjustment of plans. If you can’t make up your mind and the solution keeps changing, go watch tv or read until the uncertain energy dissipates. Brain-freeze is possible; getting lost, or thinking so hard you have to lie down can happen. Dame Edna said, “Never be afraid to laugh at yourself. You’re in a three way squeeze play. Buy something and you’re disappointed, give love and you’re ignored, offer support and it’s declined. The open door lies with groups or friends. A group
can do something that nobody can do alone. Join up! Call friends! Detailed instructions tell you exactly what to do, follow them carefully. It’s very important to make a list and check it twice
before taking action. The more careful you are, the more success you find. Ask a stranger how to get somewhere and wait as you receive a fifteen minute explanation. Write it down! If you don’t, you’ll get lost again! Generalizations don’t work today, instructions do! A Craftsman’s manual says, “Measure twice, cut once,” and so should you. A general feeling of happiness is wonderful, and people are supernaturally enthusiastic about everything. Wear the brightest, flashiest clothes you can find, behave with as much dignity as a butler, and everything works out fine. Walk around in your bathrobe, put your bare feet on the furniture, and watch your world fall apart. Your choice!

Ignore your pride and follow the voice. Certain things must be kept secret in this time of bombastic display. People making speeches stop mid-speech and get back to work. A new game plan is in place, one which, if followed, leads to a happy conclusion. Details, details, details, pay careful attention! Lewis Carroll said, “‘Where shall I begin, please, your Majesty?’ he asked. ‘Begin at the beginning.’ the King said gravely, ‘and go on till you come to the end; then stop.'” A criticism stings but it’s accurate, so accept it gracefully. Take it to heart and you will be in a better place. Avoid the temptation to over-spend today. What’s good? Love, romance, fun and shopping!

Two different modes prevail today. What’s most obvious is that pomp and circumstance rule. Put on your best outfit, attend impressive events and let pageantry reign! Impressive people and events are everywhere. Be respectful of the powerful people you meet today, and you will meet them! Shoot off fireworks, have marching bands, speeches, etc. The second mode involves a message delivered in private that brings hope and relief. It is entirely possible that the true hero is the one nobody thinks of. “The best leaders of all are ones the people do not know exist,” according to Lao Tzu. Watch for this person but don’t make a fuss. If you draw attention the person, preferring privacy, will disappear. Happiness is here; it is the dawning of a new day.
