Your planning skills are extraordinarily good today.  A carefully worked out project moves forward and it is a winner!  Friends inspire you, and spirituality is of a new breed.  Strength is present where dreams were formerly. It’s the difference between reading fairy tales versus playing football.  Life has changed quickly and will not go back to the leisurely mode you were in previously.  You could shock yourself with the strength and force of your speech and your positions, but this is exactly what is required now.  “Powerful times require a powerful response.”

New beginning today.  Think things over, don’t feel discouraged, be loyal to those you love and be creative.  This is a complex and interesting day.  Your brain is going so fast that you feel jittery and argumentative.  If you step back you will see that something has broken loose, something that was holding you back is gone, and that you are free!  You feel like a horse that has jumped the fence and is galloping off toward…..where?  Direction is the key.  Where are you going?  You have slipped your bonds and now….?  Think, plan, and you’ll move in the right direction.

Love – a Solid Foundation

I am hoping to teach on Sunday, if merit prevails.   I am aware that we are growing, and that new students are coming.  I would like to help them get a good foundation, and who doesn’t need more Bodhicitta training, Dzogchen View and Guru Yoga? We all do.

Kyabje His Holiness Penor Rinpoche always taught a solid foundation was necessary and resisted teaching Dzogchen for years. He felt we must rely on the Guru and taught a lot of Guru Yoga at first. But the most important thing is to give rise to Bodhicitta.

Without the preliminaries, higher Tantra cannot take root. Like seeds falling on stone, there is no way it can anchor and grow. Like a hard, dry mind, seeds cannot awaken. Even if one is completely convinced of their “realization” it is not the case. Bodhicitta is the very essence and display of Primordial Buddhanature.

Kyabje His Holiness Penor Rinpoche always displayed such kindness. Even when he was wrathful it was based on Bodhicitta, the wish to remove obstacles. And he did.  In the end, I only remember the loving kindness he always showed me – his giggle, his power, his love and support, which I ache for now.

Communication is highlighted today.  Force ruled previously, and now the diplomats or negotiators have arrived on the scene.  You can talk through problems and make resolutions or agreements that are binding and slow down the hostilities.  An aggressive energy is present, yet appeals to emotion stabilized people.  Remember who and what you love, and remember who has loved you.  Take these things into consideration and you will act wisely.  Werner Erhard said, “You don’t need to go looking for love when it’s where you come from.”  Perhaps the aggression was you looking for love?

When will I see my Guru in the flesh again? He will be young; I am getting old. He will be beautiful to my eyes as he is to my heart.

Why must I be alone without His gift of protection and grace? He is gone from the earth but resides in my heart. Beloved!

Grant me the blessing of touching my head to your lotus feet; I crave your scent. Here is all my life & work. Will you accept this harvest?

When your human mother sees your eyes for the first time, will she know she has carried BUDDHA? Will she drown in their depth as I have?

When she kisses your sweet head will she feel your Vajra Crown? Will her lips curve in secret Bliss? Will she give the milk of Bodhicitta?

How long will I walk in loneliness without the comfort of your Nirmanakaya form? Each day is a suffering… I need you.

I remember going shopping for brocade with you. Lobsang said “wake up! (5:00am) HH is taking you shopping!” No coffee?

You stopped, first thing, for coffee and “iddley” (sp?) – I know you heard me. When you drove your car you talked non-stop! So happy-

You would spit when you spoke excitedly… I swore I would never wash my face, for you had spit on it when talking. Shower of Blessings.

You tested me hard. I did not know what to do but love you.

Today in my practice I knew you were there-here-everywhere. And my mind? Why do I wait when you are never gone? I adore you.

AAHh, Beloved. I long for you. Grieve and rejoice in you. If all Samsara conspires to take YOU from me- it is not possible. I am yours.

You are my delight, my reward, my family, my LOVE. No one can take you from me.

Just as Lamchen Mandarava held to a stone mountain to stay in your presence, I will fight the very demons of hell to remain your servant.

Because I know you. I know you, Beloved; wherever you appear. My heart is your home. My crown YOUR seat. Beloved; return!

Master of awakening, holder of all that is meaningfull, I beg you to return and preserve the Purity of mother Palyul! KYE HO!

Argument today!  Watch your speech, you could be too cutting or too critical.  You may have taken on too much work, and you’re pushing too hard to get it done.    Yet a certain brilliance is present in your thinking that opens a door you were unaware of.  You have the ability to “reframe” a situation in your life, and having done this a new solution to a problem appears.  Soldiers, construction workers, ditch diggers, policemen — people who work in these professions  — are especially effective in situations.  Heavy, aggressive and physically taxing solutions are exactly what the doctor ordered. Power and strength win the day.

Hmmm, you could misunderstand directions and get lost today.  You are more focused on “go go” than on “think think.”  Your toes are tapping and you want to move!   “Don’t bother me with details, I’m off!” is the way you’re thinking.  You have the ability to fix nearly anything today, and mechanical skills come to the fore.  As long as it’s fast, you’re in.  You have zero patience for long drawn out explanations or for reading directions.  Action! If you insult anyone you’ll be so charming they’ll forgive you.
